They’re known for helping brands creatively engage with consumers by making content that resonates–often with the help of the world’s most famous celebrities.

Role Description:

  • Supervised the strategic distribution of company resources and coordinated team workflow and communications to ensure flawless production of media & projects in alignment with timelines, budgets, talent, external clients, and stakeholder requirements

  • Served as the inter-team liaison overseeing end-to-end operations on multi-channel B2C media campaigns from concept development through asset delivery and publication driving collaboration with technical teams, creative pods, production crews, talent, vendors, clients, and executives

  • Collaborated with c-suite directors on developing our first internal venture capital incubator cell with ten portfolio companies helping map out the program framework, timelines, milestones, organization structure, and overarching growth strategy

  • BRAND CAMPAIGN:
“TASTE SO GOOD” MUSIC VIDEO FOR PRIDE

Pride isn’t just a commemorative holiday for marketing purposes. Pride is a part of the Cann DNA – being proudly started by two LGBTQ+ founders – it’s one of the most important months of the year. So how does a queer-owned brand make an impact in an over-saturation of rainbow-washed marketing? London Alley Creative Studio partnered with Cann and Weedmaps to create an iconic cultural moment and tribute that would do more than just check a box. Plus, one that would follow marketing compliance and launch four new Cann Lite flavors.

So naturally, we made a music video. The “Taste So Good” anthem was born from musician Leland’s original writing and performed by a group of diverse LGBTQ+ stars including (but not limited to) Hayley Kiyoko, Kesha, VINCINT, and grammy-nominated producer MNEK. With a Pepsi-circa-2001, Britney-inspired music video, “Taste So Good” visually embodied queer joy and quickly became an iconic, internet-breaking celebration of Pride, queerness, and uniqueness.

  • Western Digital – the leading MAC and PC digital storage solutions –came to London Alley Creative Studio to aesthetically reinvigorate the brand for a summer campaign and create a library of diverse assets to be adjusted for any sub-brands (like SanDisk WD_BLACK, etc.) global usage.

To bring these summer adventures and core memory-making moments to life, the LACS built out an extensive messaging matrix to ensure each deliverable set could work across all sub-brands and global geos.

  • WhatNot – the social marketplace app that lets audiences live stream, shop, buy, and sell – came to the London Alley Creative Studio team to create a moment of large-scale engagement across multiple platforms with two VERY different audiences. AKA: the wanted Post Malone, the “always tired” musician, and Magic: The Gathering, a fantasy trading-card game, to collab on a live stream event – and in four weeks.

Through a phased timeline and cadence of content and live streams, LACS engaged audiences across every platform and ended the event with an exclusive Whatnot marketplace live stream.

In collaboration with Whatnot, LACS created “Mana y Mana,” aka the $100k challenge and event identity. A singular, unique event name allowed for all parties to easily promote across platforms and varying audiences. The identity helped tell the story, with elements that authentically represented all of the participants, as well as assisted with launch strategy to drive event acquisition and PR buzz.

Through influencer partnerships, strategically phased live drops, and social posts, LACS and Post Malone built out a social engagement strategy across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to build hype in two weeks. Spoiler: was massively successful. It crashed the Whatnot app at least once (oops).

  • Rising star founders approached us to help with a communication strategy and content launch for FEAST, their peer-to-peer sexual education & wellness platform designed for Gen Z.

Even though they both have received education on sexual safety from traditional schooling, they recognized that there was much more left to learn outside of the classroom. There needed to be a place that was accessible to everyone, where young people could talk, laugh, cry, and feel a little less alone.

We collaborated to bring this statement to life with highly provocative content library full of metaphoric imagery and statements meant to cause intrigue and invite the Gen Z audiences to join. The assortment of content would be leveraged across all phases of FEAST’s eight-phased waterfall marketing strategy, which includes awareness pieces, website, targeted social posts, and email capture and follow ups.

This came to life with an anthemic “Welcome to the Feast” video, digital print campaigns materials which included stills, gifs and boomerangs, educational Tik Toks featuring Amanda and Summer, and personal stories/testimonials from a curated Gen-Z cast that reflected the diversity and inclusion seen by their audience.m description
